GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a holistic movement concept that sees the body as a unit.
A GYROTONIC® Personal Training lasts 1 hour. In these 60 minutes, the trainer's attention is with you. Already after 10 hours you can train alone, in a duo or in a trio on the equipment. In addition, you can use what you have
learned in other forms of training such as GYROKINESIS® courses, Yoga, Pilates oder Qigong
and effectively implement for you. GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Method were developped by Juliu Horvath, a gymnast, ballet dancer and swimmer. As injuries and pain severely limited his physical
capabilities, he began to seek healing in eastern healing arts such as Yoga, Tai Chi and Acupuncture.

Three-dimensional motion sequences are synchronized with a corresponding breathing pattern and executed rhythmically.
Special attention is given to increase the functional capacity of the spine. This leads to the development of flexibility and strength to an organic rejuvenation, increased vitality and dynamism.
The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® uses specific equipment designed around the human body. It works with multiple joints, under minimal axial load, thus expanding the limit of movement.
Power, flexibility and coordination are developed simultaneously.
GYROKINESIS®
GYROKINESIS® Methodsystematically and gently trains the joints and muscles through rhythmic and billowing exercises. Through flowing movement with corresponding breath, the exercise will softly and harmoniously be connected
and experienced like a dance. Each of the exercise series allows an individual increase in range of motion, intensity and speed. It is particularly important that the body can build up strength and flexibility without discomfort from within, which is ensured by
constantly repeating the various movements. The movement patterns are designed to optimally stimulate the energy and provide flexibility and symmetry in the movement.

Sitting on a low stool self-massage will awaken the senses and relax stiffened body parts. Subsequently, the nervous system will be stimulated by rhythmic breathing. This naturally move the energies in the body and helps to overcome listlessness and heaviness, a
sense of well-being grows before the beginning of the central movement series. Now the whole body is trained by seven natural back movements. As muscle tone and body awareness increase, advanced exercises are performed on the floor or upright.
Rehabilitation
GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Method effectively release the body's own healing powers and thus achieve a speedy recovery. The methods are used successfully in physiotherapy and rehabilitation
